Introduction The United Kingdom's Department for Education's advice on behaviour focuses the power of staff and strength policy in challenging behaviour, via rules, sanctions rewards. We designed a video-feedback intervention teams special educational setting who were working with children intellectual disability behaviour. aimed to raise reflective capacity relational mechanisms that offer new response possibilities everyday practices within trans-disciplinary teams. Method conducted research three (between five seven participants each). report findings from two (aged between 10 14) identified as having challenged. consisted sessions, using clips good interactions themselves child review. These sessions took place over or four months. Qualitative analysis was analyse changes language depictions children. Changes participants’ goals during also analysed. Results staff's focus child's reduced. Children originally depicted isolated became relationship peers staff. Participants more curious about his school home environment. participant's personal emerged through their understandings what it meant be good. Conclusions Working video feedback can change around conceptualisation family. Further adaptations are needed critical reflection concepts circulate ‘behaviour’ structure shape practices.
